Position Overview We are looking for a dependable and personable Medical Office Assistant to serve as the welcoming face of our practice. This position plays a key role in creating a smooth, positive experience for every family who walks through our doors. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and genuinely enjoys interacting with children and caregivers. Key Responsibilities Greet patients and families with a friendly, professional demeanor Manage appointment scheduling and handle incoming phone calls Deliver excellent customer service and assist families with questions or concerns Verify insurance coverage, collect co‑pays, and explain basic benefit information Maintain accurate, confidential patient records Perform administrative tasks such as scanning, faxing, filing, and data entry Support daily office flow and coordinate with clinical and administrative staff Demonstrate consistent attendance, punctuality, and reliability Follow HIPAA guidelines and protect patient privacy at all times Qualifications Prior experience in a medical or healthcare office Knowledge of pediatric care or medical terminology Comfortable managing multiple phone lines and computer‑based tasks Strong multitasking and organizational abilities Experience with EMR systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills Positive attitude and team‑focused mindset Why Work With Us Pediatrics is full of meaningful moments — big milestones, small victories, and the everyday joy of helping families. Pay:
$16.25 - $17.25 per hour
