Patient Service Representative - PartTime

Primary Care of Western New York is one of the largest physician owned family medicine practices in the Buffalo area. Our dedicated team delivers excellent service to support high quality patient care to patients of all ages. Our three offices are located in Kenmore and Williamsville. We are looking to add qualified, part time Patient Service Representative's to expand our front desk and telephone service for our Union Road and Maple Road office locations. A caring and friendly demeanor with superior professional communication, dependability and attention to detail are must have qualifications for this position. Assigned office location will be limited, but the ability to work among the three locations is an expectation on occasion. Work hours are day time with 1 evening shift per week M-F and Saturday mornings every 4-6 weeks. Rate of compensation is based on relevant experience and skills.

Primary Functions:

Provide a high level of service to maintain patient satisfaction Maintain accuracy in a fast paced environment Register new patients with the practice Verify patient's insurance and demographic information Checking patients in and out for office appointments Schedule patient appointments using the electronic health record Collaborate and communicate with Providers, Nurses and Billers Answer a phone calls Field general inquiries about PCWNY Benefits include (Part-Time):

Customer/patient service experience-1 year or more preferred Dependable, punctual and conscientious Able to work independently and as a member of a team Typing a minimum of 35 WPM Positive attitude and service oriented Electronic health record experience desired
