  • Full-time CMADC is seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to join our team as a Referral Coordinator.
The Referral Coordinator will perform a wide range of administrative duties including referral processing, patient registration, verification of benefits, insurance authorizations, patient appointment scheduling, and communication with referral sources.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the tracking, coordination, and communication of patient referrals. Ensure complete and accurate patient registration, including demographics and current insurance information. Handle requests from third party referral sources and provide relevant information and data. Serve as point person for multidisciplinary evaluation process to include patient scheduling, third party communications, and internal communications. Assemble information concerning patient's clinical background and referral needs. Contact insurance companies to ensure verification of benefits and prior authorization approval requirements are met. Review details and expectation of referral with the potential patient. Ensure that referrals are addressed in a timely manner. Communicate with referral sources to ensure patient information/registration is complete. Communicate patient updates between program and referring source.
