Part/Full Time Position Summary The Patient Care Coordinator position was created for the purpose of assuring that all patients are greeted professionally, scheduled appropriately, and the office environment is maintained in a professional manner. Monday-Thursday 8:45AM-4PM Role and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for creating a welcoming and respectful environment for patients, visitors and vendors
  • Coordinate all patient scheduling needs
  • Manage electronic patient records on proprietary software
  • Make daily remote bank deposits
  • Enter Patient information correctly into scheduling and billing software
  • Must assure all non-insurance charges are accurately invoiced to the patient
  • Must be able to discuss commonly asked "hearing aid and hearing loss" questions
  • Effectively communicate with all patients and visitors, including hearing impaired individuals
  • Must accurately maintain cash box
  • Must always protect patient and clinic privacy
  • Effectively Track patient and doctor referrals
  • Prepare and send thank you cards to patients and referral sources
  • Performs daily office cleaning Additional Functions
  • Maintain day-to-day operational procedures according to supervisor expectations
  • Must adhere to all company policies
  • Maintain a list of current marketing and advertising activities of the clinic
  • Serve as a critical member of the clinic's team, assisting in the growth of the practice
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
  • Must be able to travel to outside events or referral sources on behalf of the clinic
  • Must assure the clinic is kept neat and clean in both the front office and back-office areas
  • Perform other duties as assigned Job Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Possesses a strong customer service focus
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Able to generate, maintain and demonstrate a friendly, enthusiastic and positive attitude
  • Experience with OMS and EHR systems, and/or ability to learn and master the practice's scheduling systems
  • Must have proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office/ Google Suite)
  • Must be dependable and self-motivated
  • Must have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and produce results with both speed and accuracy
  • Must perform detailed tasks with speed and accuracy
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with management and within the team Professional Expectations Exhibits a positive attitude, compassionate care, a professional appearance, is detailed, efficient and organized with an orientation toward accuracy.
Maintains strict confidentiality and enjoys a team-oriented work environment to facilitate the smooth, efficient and professional care of the patient and performance of the office. Work Environment & Additional Requirements The typical work of this position is conducted in a professional office environment
  • Professional attire and attitude are required at all times
  • The position requires fine motor skills for typing, filing and manipulating hearing aids
  • This position requires the person to be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must have reliable transportation, maintain a valid State Driver's License and appropriate vehicle insurance
Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
