Patient Services - Summer Student

As a Temporary Student Worker, you will gain hands-on experience from some of the best caregivers in the field. You will assist with various administrative, clerical, patient service and operational support tasks, offering a unique opportunity to enhance your customer service, technological and organization skills within a healthcare setting. Come experience first-hand the dynamic, innovative and explorative culture at Cleveland Clinic. A caregiver in this position works 8:00am to 4:30pm or 11:00am to 8:00pm. This role will also float between locations as needed and provide coverage 1-2 evenings per week as well as 2 weekends per yearly quarter. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Assist with administrative, clerical, patient service or operational support duties. Maintain equipment, files and databases while following all department procedures and guidelines. Participate in performance improvement activities or meetings and recommend actions to improve results. Assists with patient service functions when trained and assigned. High School Diploma/GED Physical Requirements:

Requires occasional computer entry, sitting, standing and walking to attend meetings. Normal or corrected vision, hearing and speech.

Personal Protective Equipment:

Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range Minimum hourly:

$15.00 Maximum hourly: $150.00 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
