Job Description

Weekend Admissions Coordinator Location :
Umpqua Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center ( Roseburg, OR)
Pay :
$22.00•$25.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule :
Part-time•Weekends (16 hours total•Saturday & Sunday)
Hours :
9:00 AM•5:00 PM PST (Onsite) Orientation and training will be scheduled during weekday shifts for approximately the first two weeks of employment before transitioning to the regular weekend schedule. Umpqua Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an enthusiastic and service-driven part-time Admissions Coordinator to join our team to support weekend coverage! What You'll Do:
Coordinate room readiness with nursing, maintenance, and housekeeping teams. Review and manage admissions referrals through EPIC, AIDA, and faxed systems. Ensure a smooth and welcoming admissions experience for residents and families. Collaborate with the admissions director, DON, and administrator to maintain census goals. Support customer service, documentation, and regulatory processes. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and occasional on-call/weekend duties.
What We're Looking For:
Required :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred :
Degree in healthcare management, marketing, or related field. 3-5 years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting. Previous experience as a CNA or healthcare worker strongly preferred. Knowledge of EPIC, PCC, or similar EMR systems is a plus. Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance verification. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
