Intake Coordinator

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Intake Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient intake processes, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with healthcare regulations. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Intake Coordinator will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and support. Responsibilities Manage the patient intake process, including collecting necessary information and documentation. Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for services. Schedule appointments and coordinate care plans for patients. Provide clerical support including filing, typing, and managing multi-line phone systems. Completing client intake by visiting their homes Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care and services offered. Qualifications

MUST DRIVE

Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance verification processes, and documentation review is essential. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are necessary for effective patient interaction. Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to enhance communication with diverse patient populations. Knowledge of HHA Exchange is beneficial. Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are critical for maintaining accurate records.
