Responsibilities:

Your typical day will be working with patients and family members as they come into the Emergency Room. You will be one of the first UPMC team members they interact with to get checked in. As part of that process, you will: Obtain or update necessary demographic and insurance-related information. Confirm insurance eligibility Collect and record patient payments including co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles Obtain applicable signatures for consent to treat and financial responsibility, along with signatures on any required forms
