Full-time Introduction:
Orthopaedic & Spine Technologies is a leading distributor of durable medical equipment (DME) in the Tri-State area. We provide services directly to patients, medical networks, physician clinics, hospitals, and outpatient offices. Our team is dedicated to advancing patient care through exceptional service and innovative product technology. We have an immediate opportunity to join our growing company. We are currently seeking a full-time Patient Care Representative in the Scranton area . An Athletic Trainer or someone with clinical experience would be an excellent fit. Recent graduates with a healthcare background are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
Provide proper fitting and education for orthopedic DME products. Gather all required paperwork to facilitate billing on behalf of the company. Follow inventory management protocols and ensure accurate tracking of products. Deliver the highest level of customer service to patients, physicians, and all clinic/surgery center personnel. Respond quickly to product shortages with urgency and professionalism. Troubleshoot product issues efficiently and provide solutions. Maintain strong product knowledge, including understanding key differentiators between our products and competitor products, and communicate this effectively to customers.
Qualifications and Skills:
Candidates must be hard-working, dependable, and detail-oriented. Final candidates will be required to pass a drug test and a detailed background check. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for the right individual. Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) preferred Ability to perform medium physical work (up to 50 lbs occasionally; up to 20 lbs regularly) Ability to kneel, bend, and use hand strength to properly fit orthopedic braces Comfort with close patient contact, including occasional exposure to surgical incisions Must maintain a clean driving record Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse patient populations Strong computer skills Bonus opportunities available after achieving product competency and participating in the sales process
