Joshua Tree Health is a fast-growing adolescent behavioral health company based in Apex, NC, operating Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization (PHP) programs for teens ages 10-17. We exist to help young people and their families reconnect with what matters most — and we take that mission personally. Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator to join our teen mental health team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for prospective patients, guiding them through the admissions process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your energetic approach will help create a welcoming environment, ensuring smooth patient intake and administrative support to facilitate exceptional patient experiences. Duties Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff with warmth and professionalism, establishing a positive first impression Manage patient intake by collecting accurate personal, insurance, and medical information efficiently Verify insurance details and coordinate with insurance providers to ensure proper coverage Schedule appointments, follow-up visits, and coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient flow Maintain organized records of patient information, appointments, and admission documentation Support medical administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure all necessary documentation is complete for patient admissions Requirements Prior experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment preferred Strong knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with medical administrative procedures Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Proficiency in office software applications such as Microsoft Office or electronic health record systems Experience working in mental health or other specialized medical offices is a plus Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and approachable demeanor Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain confidentiality Join us as an Admissions Coordinator and be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering outstanding healthcare experiences. Pay:
$21.28 - $29.24 per hour
