Job Description

New Mind Wellness is a mental health partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program located in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. Our program is dedicated to offering comprehensive and compassionate care to individuals struggling with mood disorders, thought disorders, and trauma. Our mission is to offer a comprehensive approach to mental wellness, combining various therapies, medication stabilization, life skills training, and a diverse range of holistic modalities. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Admissions Coordinator to join our team. The admissions coordinator will serve as the first point of contact for perspective clients interested in treatment. This position must be empathetic and knowledgeable about mental health treatment and the processes of connecting a client to treatment. Responsibilities An Admission Coordinator must possess the ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times An Admission Coordinator is generally the first contact with New Mind Wellness, and must hold to a high standard of communication, behavior and attitude when communicating with clients and other professionals An Admission Coordinator understands there are key elements in every conversation that lead a caller toward a Commitment to Care Introduce oneself and initiate a dialog with the caller Speak clearly and concisely Convey authentic empathy and compassion through words and tone of voice Knowledge and articulation of program features, advantages & benefits Office etiquette Excellent computer skills and in particular a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Empathy or the ability to tune in to verbal and non-verbal cues, as well as have a deep understanding of a client's feelings and emotions Persistence and the ability to stay motivated even through rejections or setbacks Business acumen or the ability to understand business problems, analyze risks and opportunities, make informed decisions, and take action that positively impacts your organization Experience Previous experience working in behavioral health admissions is preferred but not required Experience of some level in behavioral health Join us in shaping the future of our students by applying your skills as an Admissions Coordinator!
