Full-Time About This Opportunity Join our healthcare team as an Appointment Scheduler, where you'll be the first voice patients hear and a critical link in our patient care journey. In this dynamic role, you'll manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and ensure patients are directed to the right care at the right time. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming medical calls with professionalism and compassion, screening calls and taking detailed messages Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments efficiently while maintaining accurate records Enter detailed patient correspondence into health records and relay messages to appropriate clinical staff Respond to routine patient inquiries and direct callers to the appropriate departments or staff members Complete patient intake information and verify insurance eligibility Gather information from providers and patients regarding concerns, escalating to the appropriate team members Process phone payments for patient balances and collection accounts when necessary Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations in all patient interactions Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED Minimum 1 year of healthcare-related experience Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required) Excellent communication and organizational skills Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) software such as Athena Health or similar platforms Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Professional demeanor with a positive attitude and strong customer service orientation Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Why Join Us?
