Not eligible About BayCare BayCare is currently in search of our newest Medical Office Representative who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. BayCare's top priority is the health and well-being of our communities as Tampa Bay's leading multi-specialty group, with more than 600 providers practicing 45 specialties across over 175 outpatient locations throughout the Tampa Bay and west central Florida regions. Role Overview As a Medical Office Representative , you will support front desk operations in a busy physician office by ensuring a positive patient experience and efficient administrative workflow. You will serve as a key point of contact for patients while supporting scheduling, registration, and revenue cycle activities. Key Responsibilities Support the physician office healthcare team with daily operations Greet and check in patients while obtaining accurate patient information Schedule appointments, procedures, and referrals Assist patients with questions and provide customer service support Collect and post payments and assist with billing inquiries Ensure completion of encounter forms prior to patient checkout Manage patient records, including copying medical records as needed Sort and distribute mail and support administrative tasks Maintain accurate documentation and scheduling systems Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Education -Required High School Diploma or GED Experience Required:
6 months of healthcare experience OR 6 months of customer service experiencePreferred:
