Job Summary We are seeking a Patient Service Representative for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Sandy, UT. This hybrid role is ideal for a customer-focused healthcare support professional who enjoys helping patients and members navigate appointments, benefits, technical questions, and care-related services with professionalism and accuracy. As a Patient Service Representative, you will serve as a key point of contact for both medical and non-medical customers, providing technical troubleshooting, appointment support, insurance-related assistance, and clear communication between patients, members, and care center teams. Key Responsibilities
- Respond to patient, member, and customer inquiries by phone, email, or chat while providing timely, accurate, and professional support.
- Assist with medical customer service needs including appointment scheduling, insurance verification, eligibility questions, benefits inquiries, claims, pharmacy-related questions, and care center service information.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to connectivity, systems access, and customer use of products or services, escalating complex issues when needed.
- Process medical orders by verifying patient information, coordinating documentation, and ensuring accuracy in records and communication.
- Document all customer interactions, technical issues, service requests, and resolutions in CRM or ticketing systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Collaborate with care center staff, technical support, and internal teams to support seamless service delivery and continuous process improvement. Compensation and Benefits
