Job Description
Optimize clinician time by scheduling appointments according to provider specifications or templates. Screen calls to determine if physician or clinical staff should take the call. Refer/re-route calls as needed. Travel between two locations. Patient chart preparation. Works within EMR scheduler, under appointment flow, notifying clinical staff of patient's arrival via EMR scheduler check in and check out process. Confirm necessary appointments, reschedule and cancel appointments, follow up with patients who "No show" utilizing our automated confirmation system. Maintains a professional, orderly, clean and secure front desk and reception area. Review paperwork to ensure the patient is registered correctly. Scan documents to patient electronic chart. Collects co-payments or past due balances. Obtain insurance referrals from primary care physician. Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording and updating personal and financial information.
