$33 per hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (9-hour day shift)
Work Setting:
Onsite for orientation, then fully remote Job Summary The Trauma Registrar is responsible for collecting, reviewing, coding, and maintaining trauma patient data in compliance with trauma registry standards and the American College of Surgeons (ACS) requirements. This role supports trauma program quality improvement initiatives through accurate data abstraction, validation, and reporting. Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of Trauma Registry experience Minimum 5 years of ICD-10 coding experience AIS-15 Coding Certificate (required) Experience working with the National Trauma Database (NTDB) Current knowledge of American College of Surgeons (ACS) Trauma Registry standards and criteria Strong analytical, data abstraction, and medical record review skills Key Responsibilities Abstract and code trauma patient records using ICD-10 and AIS coding guidelines Maintain accurate and complete trauma registry data Ensure compliance with ACS trauma program requirements Perform data validation, quality assurance, and reporting activities Collaborate with clinical teams to obtain and verify patient information Submit trauma data to required state and national databases Support trauma program performance improvement initiatives Certifications Required AIS-15
Coding Certificate Pay:
$32.00 - $33.00 per hour
