You will round and admit with the hospitalist team consisting of 10 physicians with 4 advanced practitioners and hospitalist RN. Additional duties include Performing evaluation and management services to patients requiring hospitalist services with the hospitalist practice. Develop treatment plans. Complete admissions from ED. Perform dictation of H&P examinations. Cross cover for the hospitalist team. Perform dictation of discharge summary and procedure reports. Write progress notes, Order routine and special laboratory studies. Write orders for inpatient and outpatient medicine. Opportunity is with a 248-bed, community hospital. Established 10 physician team with 4 advanced practitioners and a clinical performance nurse. No call|no procedures required. Hospitalists run codes on own patients. Cerner EMR. Award-winning program with supportive resources, including Cancer Care, Cardiovascular Institute, and Neurosciences. Behavioral Health services has a 62-bed facility for acute care crisis. You will receive quality|productivity bonuses of up to $7500 per year. Hospital offers a commencement bonus of $5K.
