$17-21.00 per hour Position Summary Advancia Aeronautics is actively seeking self-motivated, detail oriented, organized, and enthusiastic Appointment Clerks Lead to provide contract appointment clerk duties supporting healthcare operations at the 28th Medical Group, Ellsworth AFB, SD. The Appointment Clerks will work under the general direction of an Appointment Clerk Lead to provide patient appointing, patient secure messaging, patient registration duties following protocols set forth by the Government and the 28th Medical Group guidelines and be the point of contact for Government information flow. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Book initial, follow-up and reschedule appointments, input cancellations, and perform call-back reminders IAW Government-provided protocols Accept face-to-face contact, telephonically, or video-based appointment requests by authorized beneficiaries, staff members or automated means Abide by telephony metrics as established by the most current Air Force Instruction 44-176 to include, but not limited to, booking error-free appointments, answering calls within 45 seconds, and resolving customers' requests within 180 seconds Administratively support the secured messaging system to include, but not limited to, responding to patients with 24 hours, performing enrollment, and transferring provider empanelment, and deleting patients who are no longer enrolled Provide administrative support, such as retrieving data and metrics, to Healthcare Integrators, Group Practice Managers and other staff members to increase HEDIS metrics and enhance access for all enrollees Verify and update patient registration, patient contact and additional health insurance data; perform eligibility checks in Government-provided eligibility system Prepare and analyze reports to include, but not limited to, metrics related to compliance standards IAW AFI 44-176 and
DHA IPM 18-001
Other duties as assigned Education & Experience Requirements Must pass a DoD Background Investigation Prior experience in appointing, healthcare operations and use of clinical applications in a DoD healthcare setting preferred Experience in assisting customers either in person, over-the-phone or video call Proficient in use of the Microsoft Office Product Suite Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands Services are provided indoors at a government facility at Ellsworth AFB, SD Lift and/or carry 5-50 lbs., climb, and push/pull carts Works under the general supervision and technical direction an Appointment Clerk Lead and Group Practice Manager Support hours are between 0655-1625/Monday-Friday excluding Federal Holidays #ClearanceJobs Advancia Aeronautics, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
