Patient Care Coordinator

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our dental team. Duties Manage patient scheduling and ensure timely appointments for dental services. Coordinate patient care activities, including follow-ups and referrals. Review and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize electronic health record systems such as Dentrix and Open Dental for patient management. Assist in administrative tasks related to dental office management, including insurance verification. Provide support to patients regarding their questions about services, procedures, and insurance coverage. Collaborate with dental clinic staff to ensure high-quality patient care and service delivery. Conduct documentation reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of patient records. Experience Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred. Familiarity with Dentrix or Open Dental is highly desirable. Strong administrative skills with an emphasis on organization and attention to detail. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards. Experience in patient service roles, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills.
