JOB SUMMARY
The Patient Access Registrars areas of technical competencies should include: Working knowledge of office equipment and computers, Medicare, TennCare, healthcare insurance payment methodologies, and financial assistance policies and procedures. General knowledge of hospital/FHG payment plan guidelines, hospital/FHG clinical departments and service protocols and healthcare coding practices. Strong negotiation and collection skills.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required 2 Years of Related Healthcare Experience Preferred Solid Understanding of Healthcare Terminology. Preferred Strong communication skills. Strong work ethic and energy. Preferred Thrives in a Demanding and Professional Environment. Preferred Excellent Business Judgment and Customer Service Skills.
