Medical Office Front Desk with Translation Services - Bilingual

General Summary of Duties:

This position is responsible for front desk tasks as well as day-to-day administrative and general office duties at local Ob/Gyn clinic. Provides interpretation services to ensure patients completely understand medical information between physicians, nurses and staff.

Responsibilities/Tasks:

Provide interpretation services for patients speaking a foreign language in person and via phone to ensure complete understanding during check-in, scheduling and accompany to appointment as needed. Assist patients with interpreting & communicating test results. Promptly and professionally answers telephone calls. Schedule patient appointments via phone and in person ensuring appropriate scheduling guidelines are followed. Facilitates patient flow and communicates delays with patients and clinical staff. Assist with scanning documents into EMR under appropriate category/folder for follow up. Performs other duties as assigned. Spanish required.
