Patient Service Specialist - Bilingual

VIP Children's Clinic (VIPCC) Springfield is looking for a highly motivated, committed, and caring bilingual individual who wants to join an established, caring team of patient service specialists(PSS). The patient services specialist supports delivery of patient care by providing customer service, including telephone etiquette, cash management, scheduling appointments, processing insurance updates and conducting patient check in/out. Facilitates efficient workflow, supports appropriate use of technology, and fosters effective communication to support VIPCC mission and credo. The patient services specialist must possess above average computer skills and have prior knowledge of insurance policies and medical practice check in procedures. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to apply critical thinking methods to situations is required. Experience on eClinical Works software is preferred but not required. This is a full-time position that requires the availability to work some evening and weekend shifts, including Sundays.
