Job Description

Job Summary Our highly rated dental office is seeking an individual to fill our Patient Coordinator position. We offer a friendly working environment with the possibility to advance in our growing practice. Seeking an individual who is highly motivated, super friendly, and willing to continue to learn. Potentially will need to work at other locations. Spanish is preferred but not required. Experience is a plus!
Responsibilities and Duties:
First person to answer phones and address patient inquiries in a timely manner Second person to review treatment plans Maintains the hygienist and doctor schedule. Making sure to optimize production. Ensures every patient has a doctor and hygiene appointment upon closing out Verifies that insurance estimates match claim that is to be submitted Interact with patients in a positive professional manner via telephone and in person Schedule and confirm appointments Review and educate patients on treatment plans and financial responsibilities Maintain and manage patient records from initial forms and paperwork through billing procedures with accurate data entry of all patient information Greeting patients and guiding them through their office experience Collection of monies owed to the practice Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and patient privacy Perform other related job duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent minimum Experience with customer service or sales Must be able to multitask
