Job Description

About Us Dallas Rheumatology is a busy specialty practice dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients with rheumatologic conditions. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Medical Office Coordinator to support our physicians and keep our day-to-day operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Assist the physicians with day-to-day office duties and ensure smooth clinic operations Manage and track medication inventory, monitoring stock levels and reordering as needed Order and maintain office supplies Initiate, submit, and follow up on prior authorizations for medications and procedures Maintain and manage medical records in accordance with HIPAA and practice standards Serve as the primary liaison between the practice and pharmaceutical representatives Track and calculate staff hours worked for payroll purposes Qualifications Prior experience in a medical office setting (rheumatology or specialty practice a plus) Familiarity with prior authorization processes and payer requirements Working knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Dependable, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities What We Offer Competitive hourly pay starting at $24.00 A collaborative, supportive work environment The opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care
