In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks. Your energetic approach will ensure smooth clinic operations, accurate documentation, and a welcoming environment for all visitors. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, and passionate about delivering outstanding patient care through efficient front desk management. Duties Greet patients warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression Manage patient check-in or check-out processes using EMR system Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance eligibility and benefits verification including Medicare and HIPAA compliance Schedule appointments accurately utilizing medical scheduling software Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette Collect and review patient documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy for medical records management Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations; manage health information securely Facilitate intake procedures for new patients; ensure all forms are completed accurately and thoroughly Experience Proven experience working as a Medical Receptionist or in a healthcare front desk role within a medical clinic setting Strong understanding of insurance verification processes, including Medicare and private insurance plans Experience handling medical records management and health information systems in compliance with HIPAA standards Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively Demonstrated clerical skills including filing, typing (10-key), data entry, and use of Microsoft Office applications Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Prior clinic or hospital experience is advantageous Join our team where your enthusiasm fuels our mission to provide top-tier healthcare services!
