Responsible for directing process improvements that support the reduction of risk and medical/clinical errors and other factors that contribute to unintended adverse patient outcomes. Provides leadership for all disciplines to include physicians/providers and staff at the Multispecialty Center and other assigned areas. This position is directly responsible for understanding the standards/regulations, monitoring and complying with the updates/changes in the standards and timely communication of the changes with the relevant departments/employees. Collaborates, educates, and engages leaders, employees, and physicians in process improvements. This position cross coordinates data, trends, plans, implements interventions, and outcomes for the Multispecialty Center and other assigned areas. Serves as a liaison with physician leadership and various committees. Work Experience Ten (10) years of Director level experience in a hospital setting, with a strong background in compliance, patient safety, risk management, and quality improvement required. Must be familiar with and have knowledge of Department functions, Joint Commission standards, Hospital Nursing and Medical Staff structures and functions, and clinical practices. License/Registration/Certification Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required Education and Training Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field required.
