Job Description

Customer care is the most important part of this position. As the 'first impression' staff person that all of our patients see, you are to be friendly, open, respectful, have a pleasant attitude and demeanor. We want every person to enter our practice to remeber you for your smile, kindness and professionalism.
Job Duties:
Check-in and check-out, take payments, maintain clean lobby and work area, verify insurance, make appointments, direct calls to other departments, maintain medical office dress code, as well answer patient questions. Prep and wipe down work area at the end of each shift. Experience with eClinical Works is a strong plus. English and Spanish languages is a strong plus. Obtain a basic history of present illness. Room patients. Accurately enter data into the electronic health record. Administer immunizations. Perform basic labs. Answer parent phone calls (physician sets standard answers and must sign off on interactions). Schedule appointments. Do/Send referrals. Keep patient rooms as well as working areas neat and clean. Communicate well with patient families and all staff and personnel.

Medical Specialty:
Pediatrics Application Question(s): Are you willing to accept a "probationary training' period of 90 days before ALL benefits start. Are you able to work a shift with the first patient scheduled at 10:30 am and the last patient scheduled at 6:45 pm? Are you willing to agree to no absences or tardiness for the first 60 days? Are you able to work a shift with the first patient scheduled at 7:30 am and the last patient scheduled at 3:45 pm?
