Plainview Registration Coordinator and Evaluator
LOCATION
: Wayland Baptist University - Plainview

Associate Registrar/Office Manager and University Registrar

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Plainview Registration Coordinator/Evaluator is a full-time position. Responsible to the Associate Registrar/Office Manager and University Registrar for responsibilities assigned. The coordinator is responsible for representing Wayland to all of the University's constituents in a positive manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Responsible for the supervision of both process/deadline calendars for the Plainview Registration, as well as communicating with faculty and students about deadlines throughout the term 2. Directly responsible for all Plainview Registrations and processes; includes add/drops and withdrawals 3. Works in conjunction with the External Registration Coordinator and International Registration Coordinator to: open and close registration for faculty and students; open and close grade posting for all faculty; and update registration groups 4. Monitors dual credit/high school registration, including communication with students and high school personnel 5. Monitors Plainview student enrollments during registration 6. Monitors submission of grades for Plainview sections, both end-of-term and for Student Status reports; and communicates with students regarding their status (Student Status letters and Probation/Suspension letters) 7. Assists faculty in the process of grade changes 8. Responsible for Plainview section schedules and ensuring quality control 9. Updates athletic practice schedule worksheets 10. Monitors instructor attendance submission for Census Date reporting and contacts students regarding attendance 11. Processes end-of-term reports, including mailing of Suspension/Probation letters 12. Evaluates student files for the Plainview campus (including WBUonline) for students pursuing degrees other than AAS, BAS, or BCM 13. Maintenance of the students' records, including evaluation of all acceptable transfer work and quality review of transcript record 14. Communicates with the Plainview advisors to assure that students move toward graduation 15. Assists with all registrations 16. Assists with graduation ceremonies 17. Answers phone and assists with walk-in students as needed. 18. Responds to directives of the
Associate Registrar/Office Manager and University Registrar Education:
Bachelor's degree is required.
Experience and Knowledge:
Two (2) years of progressive office experience is preferred. Academic records experience in higher education preferred.

Work Environment:
The work environment for this position is a standard office setting. Employees will work primarily at a desk or workstation, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. The office maintains a controlled temperature. Noise levels are generally moderate, with typical office sounds such as conversations and office machinery.
Hours of Work :
Plainview campus - Although full-time, nonexempt Plainview employees are normally scheduled to work 37.75 hours per week, the official work week for full-time salaried employees is forty (40) hours. External campuses - Although full-time, nonexempt external campus employees are normally scheduled to work 37.75 hours per week, the official work week for full-time salaried employees is forty (40) hours. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Employment is subject to an introductory period to monitor employee performance. If hired, the prospective employee must present documentation within three (3) days of hire date to establish identity and employment eligibility as required by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Employee must be able and willing to travel and provide recruitment assistance to external campuses. Must be able to operate a licensed motor vehicle, have access to a dependable motor vehicle, and possess a valid state driver's license. Must have and maintain a satisfactory driver's record.
