Medical Office Assistant

Medical Office Assistant - Part-Time We are seeking a professional and organized Part‑Time Medical Office Assistant to join our clinic. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a patient‑facing environment and has strong experience working with insurance verification and front‑office clinical support. Key Responsibilities Greet patients and manage check‑in and check‑out processes Verify insurance coverage across multiple payers and plans Collect co‑pays, update patient demographics, and maintain accurate records Assist with basic medical office tasks as needed Requirements 2+ years of experience as a Medical Office Assistant Strong communication and customer‑service skills High School Diploma or GED required Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a clinical front‑office setting Prior medical office or medical assisting experience strongly preferred Knowledge of EMR systems Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
