Admissions Coordinator

Schedule:

Part-Time | Saturdays & Sundays (6-8 hours per day) Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Admissions Assistant to join our team at a skilled nursing facility. This weekend position plays a critical role in ensuring a smooth, welcoming admission experience for new residents and their families. Key Responsibilities Assist with the admission process for new residents, including paperwork and documentation Greet residents and families, providing excellent customer service and support Coordinate with hospital discharge planners, case managers, and internal clinical teams Verify insurance and collect required admission information Maintain accurate resident records and ensure compliance with facility policies Answer phones and respond to inquiries regarding admissions and services Support the Admissions/Marketing team with administrative tasks as needed Qualifications Previous experience in healthcare, admissions, or administrative roles preferred Knowledge of skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems At Pointe Meadows (Skilled Nursing Facility) we put our employees first!
