) , friendly, compassionate, and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our front desk team at West Jordan Pediatrics . This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with children and families, and excels at staying organized while multitasking. The ideal candidate is confident, self-motivated, and genuinely compassionate. As the first point of contact for our patients and their families, the Patient Service Representative plays a key role in creating a welcoming and positive experience. This position works closely with providers and clinical staff to ensure each patient receives exceptional care. Strong communication skills and a commitment to outstanding customer service are essential.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a busy clinical setting Proficient typing and basic computer skills Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Bilingual (Spanish)
REQUIRED
Essential Functions and Duties:
Greet patients and families in a warm, courteous, and professional manner Answer phone calls promptly and professionally Schedule appointments according to clinic guidelines and provider availability Communicate clearly with patients, families, providers, and staff regarding appointments and patient needs Accurately collect and enter patient demographic and insurance information Support overall front office operations and assist with additional duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in a medical office preferred Prior customer service experience, especially in a healthcare or pediatric setting, is highly valued
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Sedentary work, requiring lifting up to 10lbs Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment Inside, climate-controlled working conditions Granger Medical Clinic offers competitive wages and excellent benefits.
