This role ensures that equipment is safe, functional, and readily available to support healthcare staff and patient needs throughout the hospital. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Key responsibilities are to: Clean, disinfect, and prepare patient care equipment for use Inspect equipment for proper operation and report issues or damage Deliver and retrieve equipment between hospital departments and patient rooms Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment Maintain accurate records of equipment status and location Follow hospital infection control and safety procedures Respond promptly to equipment requests and urgent needs Assist with inventory organization and storage Communicate equipment issues to supervisors or biomedical staff Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
