Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. In this vital role, you will help enhance the quality of life for residents and clients by delivering personalized care, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. This paid position offers an opportunity to work in diverse environments such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, memory care units, and home & community care settings. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote comfort and dignity Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to ensure health stability Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols under supervision or as trained Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer's by implementing specialized memory care techniques and behavior management strategies Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely and effectively to prevent injury during transfers Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area Maintain detailed documentation using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and report any changes in residents' conditions promptly Qualifications Prior experience in long-term care, nursing homes, assisted living, or home & community care is highly preferred Knowledge of first aid procedures and basic emergency response techniques Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring personal support Familiarity with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and memory care best practices Ability to perform vital signs measurement and medication administration accurately Strong communication skills and a caring attitude toward residents' well-being Valid driver's license and clean driving record are advantageous for roles involving transportation or community outings Join our team to make a positive impact through dedicated caregiving!
