Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Patient Access Representative, where your enthusiasm and organizational skills will make a meaningful difference in patient experiences. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring smooth and efficient registration, appointment scheduling, and insurance verification. Greet patients warmly and assist them with registration and check-in procedures Verify patient insurance information and obtain necessary authorizations or referrals Schedule appointments accurately using medical office software systems Collect and update patient demographic and medical information with attention to detail Respond promptly to patient inquiries, providing clear guidance on next steps or required documentation Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in compliance with healthcare privacy regulations Support medical staff by managing administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document processing Qualifications Prior experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment preferred Proven ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting Familiarity with medical administrative support tasks such as insurance verification and appointment scheduling Office experience that demonstrates organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and staff This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow within the healthcare industry.
