In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations within the urgent care setting. The ideal candidate is organized, empathetic, and able to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail. Duties Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures Collect patient information and verify insurance details accurately Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and documentation Maintain a clean and organized front desk area Support clinical staff by preparing patient charts and documentation as needed Ensure compliance with healthcare privacy regulations and safety protocols Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient care Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally Previous experience in healthcare or customer service is a plus but not required Selected candidates may be required to work in both Salem and Rocky Mount locations depending on schedule needs.
