Job Title:
Weekend Admissions Coordinator Location:
South Creek Post Acute South Creek Post Acute is seeking a professional and organized Weekend Admissions Coordinator to join our team. This role is key in creating a smooth, welcoming experience for new residents and their families during the admissions process.
Compensation:
$25-$28 per hour, depending on experience
Position Summary:
The Weekend Admissions Coordinator is responsible for managing the intake and admission of new residents over the weekend. This includes coordinating with hospitals, families, and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate, and compassionate transitions into our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and process all weekend admissions Communicate with hospitals, referral sources, residents, and families Verify and collect necessary documentation and information Ensure all admission paperwork is completed accurately and timely Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to support seamless transitions Provide a positive and welcoming first impression of the facility Maintain compliance with all regulatory and facility requirements
Qualifications:
Previous admissions, healthcare, or administrative experience preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to work independently and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with basic computer systems and documentation Reliable and dependable for weekend coverage
