WORK SCHEDULE 100
% FTE (40 hours per week) Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday Variable Shift
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Provides leadership, training, and workflow support to Patient Services Specialist staff in a fast-paced healthcare environment Supports patient flow, front desk operations, and delivers exceptional customer service to patients and families Coordinates patient registration, insurance verification, referrals, and communication with care teams to support seamless patient care
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide leadership, training, and workflow support to Patient Services Specialists staff Assign, monitor, and audit work while communicating feedback to leadership Support patient registration, admissions, discharge, and front desk operations Obtain and verify demographic, insurance, and financial information Ensure completion of required consents, financial agreements, and patient documentation Coordinate patient care, referrals, medical records, and interpreter services Schedule appointments, triage incoming calls, and support patient flow activities Maintain accurate patient information in the Epic electronic medical record system Performs PSS 2 duties and takes on additional responsibilities in the Supervisor's absence
REQUIREMENTS
High school graduation or equivalent Three years of Patient Support Service experience Equivalent education/experience may substitute for stated requirements
