- Shifts may vary. What you get to do every day! As the Medical Office Assistant Coordinator
- Clinic, you will be responsible to lead the development, standardization, and continuous improvement of onboarding, training, and performance support for MOA staff across Astria Health Centers.
You will:
Develop, implement, and maintain a standardized onboarding program for all newly hired Medical Office Assistants to ensure consistency in training, workflows, and expectations across all clinic sites. Design and deliver ongoing education and competency-based training programs to support skill development, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. Assess training needs through performance data, audits, and leadership feedback; provide targeted coaching and remediation plans for MOAs requiring additional support. Create, update, and maintain training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and job aids to support consistent practice. Foster a positive work environment by serving as a resource, mentor, and support system for MOA staff, contributing to employee engagement and retention. Other duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of Five (5) years of medical office experience. Ability to travel between clinic locations as needed Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and practice management software required Oral and written fluency in the English language. Preferred Qualifications. Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field Prior experience in a training, educator, preceptor, or supervisory role within a healthcare setting Strong understanding of revenue cycle processes, including registration accuracy, eligibility verification, and authorization workflows Prior experience with Oracle Cerner electronic health record (EHR) systems This position is identified as a safety-sensitive position for which impairment while on the job would present a substantial risk of death.
