General Responsibilities Under the general direction of the Coordinator of Education Initiatives and Professional Development, perform system administration functions in support of the registration/clock hour management system and support users in proper use and operation of the system. Exercise considerable independent action in preparing correspondence, responding to the public and constituencies, and other matters of a similar complexity.

Salary:
The hourly salary range for this position is $23.95 - $29.14.
Assignment:
20 hrs/week, Year Round.
Regular attendance required:
This role relies on regular and reliable attendance to ensure consistency for our students and help support a positive, productive learning environment.
Independently perform system administration duties in support of the registration/clock hour management system and manage the registration/clock hour management system. Provide customer service and problem solving to internal and external customers for clock hour applications, clock hour transcripts, conferences, events, and workshops. Support coordinators and staff in the proper use of the registration/clock hour management system. Provide technical and informational support to end users of the registration/clock hour management system and build strong relationships with school district personnel, professional organizations, and other system users. Maintain professional and technical knowledge to stay up-to-date on Washington State requirements regarding clock hours and transcripts. Coordinate and administer the receipt of clock hour forms and issuance of clock hour transcripts. Initiate internal and external correspondence, reports, and communications regarding clock hours and communicate with a range of individuals and organizations regarding clock hours and transcripts. Develop, maintain, and archive ESD 112 records consistent with state and agency guidelines. Serve as staff support to the Regional Clock Hour Committee. Arrange and coordinate meetings. Develop and maintain office procedures and filing systems.
Other Functions:
Provide support or back-up to the Administrative Assistant II of Teaching & Learning as needed. Other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED and two years of experience administering programs involving education professionals and the public including assisting customers to understand and comply with rules, requirements and processes OR an Associate's degree and one year of experience in the areas above. Experience using Microsoft Office software, including spreadsheet and database programs. Experience providing customer service.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Experience developing and maintaining a large automated tracking system using database software. Experience in public relations and/or marketing.
