POSITION SUMMARY

The Registration/Scheduler Representative provides a "Patients First" experience and supports a positive workplace by maintaining an upbeat and professional work environment while completing all assigned tasks in a timely and accurate manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

: Coordinate services for patient registration, including greeting patients, collecting demographic data and insurance information, collecting co-pays, and communicating with other departments. Act as a liaison between departments to foster open communication and teamwork, utilizing positive and effective communication with all team members. Maintain strict patient confidentiality in all situations. Position requires occasional on call, evening and/or weekend hours.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE

Computer experience and a minimum typing speed of 25 wpm One (1) year of customer service and/or clerical experience Patient registration and/or health care experience preferred Grafton City Hospital is an Equal-Opportunity employer.
