Respiratory Therapist

Overview We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT), Certified (CRT) or Registered (RRT) , internally referred to as a Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) for our Respiratory Care team. As a CRT/RRT you will work under the direction and authorization of the Medical Director and Cardiopulmonary Director/Manager. Someone who carries out respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as directed by the medical and cardiopulmonary directors, based on physician orders. They focus on assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting care while considering the specific needs of patients based on age and population, in the absence of a supervisor.

You must have:

Alabama state Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and/or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from

NBRC BLS

(AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current High School Diploma Additional Qualifications That Are a

Plus:

Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science Degree NRP certificate 2 years experience as an RCP Full benefits at
