This travel assignment offers valuable exposure to a large healthcare institution featuring 492 beds, a Level II Trauma Center, a Level III NICU, and designation as a Primary Stroke Center. Working alongside outstanding healthcare professionals, you'll gain firsthand knowledge of diverse patient populations and cutting-edge medical technology—including Cerner EMR, Omnicell, Spacelabs, and a range of advanced ventilators. This is an ideal setting to further your career, strengthen your clinical skills, and learn from leaders who approach care from multiple angles.
Schedule/Hours:
3x12-hour day shifts Weekend rotation: every other weekend Voluntary on-call Opportunity to take up to 7 days off (excluding blackout dates) Holiday coverage: one major and one minor seasonal holidayQualifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) considered with at least 2 years' experience Minimum 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience—first-time travelers welcome with qualifying background and Cerner or EPIC proficiency BLS and NRP (for NICU);ACLS/APLS
preferred Experience in LevelIII NICU
within the past 12 months for NICU-focused roles Proficiency in adult critical care; NICU roles require skills in ground transport, Nitric Oxide administration, and transport experience is a plusResponsibilities:
Deliver respiratory care for adult and neonatal populations hospital-wide Float between adult and NICU assignments based on clinical needs Operate advanced ventilators and monitoring equipment Participate in ground transports and administer specialized therapies (for NICU assignments) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomesBenefits & Travel Perks:
