- Salary range
- + $40-$44 per hour. Compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, education and location
- On‑Call transparency
- + Rotation is area‑based, not branch‑based + Coverage area includes Sonoma County, Marin County, and some coastal areas + Rotation frequency: Once every 5 weeks, Monday-Sunday + Weekend call‑outs are rare and generally involve telehealth support + Mileage and time start from home during on‑call rotation + Personal vehicle required (mileage reimbursed)
- What you'll do
- + Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow‑ups + Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance + Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriately + Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs + Collaborating with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams + Maintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptop + Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment, including, but not limited to, oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, invasive and non-invasive ventilation + Inspects and tests equipment to ensure proper operating condition + Perform clinical assessments and tests such as pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry and gathering vital signs + Performs other duties as required •What we look for•+ Registered Respiratory Therapist with an active RT license + Ability to stand, lift, push and/or pull objects ranging from 10 - 50 lbs.
- Education
- + Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Certificates, licenses, registrations or professional designations
- + Hold a current RCP license in the state of practice (or states that the location covers) if that state requires an RCP license to allow the practice of respiratory therapy + Hold a current CPR Certification + Hold all applicable licensure in good standing for all states of practice If you feel this opportunity could be the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply.
