Respiratory Therapist - Home Medical Equipment CHME, Inc. - Foster City, CA Full-Time & Part-Time Looking to use your Respiratory Therapy skills outside of the hospital setting? CHME is seeking motivated Respiratory Therapists to support patients transitioning safely from hospital to home throughout the Bay Area. This role combines clinical care, patient education, and respiratory equipment management in a flexible home care environment. Responsibilities Set up and educate patients on respiratory equipment in the home Train patients and caregivers on safe equipment use Support hospital discharges and ongoing home respiratory care Complete accurate clinical documentation Coordinate with physicians, case managers, and referral sources Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medi-Cal, and insurance guidelines Equipment Experience Preferred Home ventilators CPAP/BiPAP Oxygen therapy Suction equipment Cough assist devices Pulse oximeters Trach mist Qualifications Active California RCP license Current CPR certification Valid driver's license Acute care experience preferred Home care or DME experience is a plus Benefits Flexible Monday-Friday schedule Competitive pay 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Ongoing training and support Join a team that allows you to continue making a clinical impact while enjoying greater flexibility and work-life balance.
