We are committed to delivering high-quality patient care while supporting patients transitioning from hospital to home. We are seeking a licensed Respiratory Therapist Manager to provide clinical leadership, staff oversight, and patient support within our growing respiratory program. Position Summary This role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on respiratory therapy support in the home care and DME setting. The Respiratory Therapist Manager oversees respiratory services, supports staff development, ensures regulatory compliance, and assists patients with respiratory equipment management and education. Responsibilities Provide clinical oversight for home respiratory therapy services. Support patients transitioning home from hospitals and post-acute facilities. Perform patient assessments, equipment setup, education, and follow-up care.
Oversee respiratory equipment including:
Home Ventilators Oxygen Therapy CPAP/BiPAP Suction Machines Cough Assist Devices Pulse Oximeters Supervise, train, and support respiratory therapy staff. Ensure compliance with CHAP, Medicare, Medi-Cal, HIPAA, and company standards. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Participate in quality improvement and accreditation readiness activities. Collaborate with physicians, referral sources, and internal teams. Qualifications Active California RCP license required. Current CPR certification required. Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation required. 1-2 years acute care respiratory therapy experience required. Home care or DME experience preferred. Leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Brightree or EMR experience preferred.
