Fresno, CA Job Details Part-time From $28.85 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications RRT Tracheostomy care Working with pediatric populations Working with geriatric patients Driver's License Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) machines Ventilator management Medical treatment knowledge State-specific respiratory therapist license Pediatrics Adolescents Bilevel positive airway pressure (BiPAP) machines Associate's degree Teaching RCP License Geriatrics Full Job Description RT to report to the office in Fresno, CA We are looking for a part-time Respiratory Therapist to join our team of passionate and highly motivated professionals providing ventilator and other respiratory equipment at home. Candidate must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the different respiratory equipment/supplies provided and the differences in techniques and treatment modalities as performed on patients of varying ages, including pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients. Job responsibilities include but not limited to: Collaborating with other members of the health care team to facilitate discharge planning and ensure smooth transition of patients from the hospital to home setting. Setting up and monitoring/following up with patients on CPAP/Bilevel, mechanical ventilators and other associated respiratory equipment and duties required for such treatment, i.e., airway management, tracheal suctioning. Formulating and implementing training/ teaching plan based on identified learning needs evaluates effectiveness of learning. Serving as a resource for technical and medical issues regarding respiratory equipment and respiratory care as needed.
Pay:
From $28.85 per hour
