Qualifications:
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Valid state respiratory care practitioner license (or eligibility to obtain) BLS and ACLS certifications required Previous clinical experience in acute care or hospital settings strongly preferred Proficient in managing ventilators, performing patient assessments, and documenting care Excellent communication, adaptability, and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients of various ages and conditions Operate and manage mechanical ventilation and advanced respiratory equipment Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care Conduct patient assessments, perform diagnostic tests, and develop care plans Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and ongoing care Ensure accurate, timely medical documentation and adherence to all safety protocols
