• Fri Generations Healthcare is in search of a Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a brand new program !

We are looking for a CA licensed Respiratory Therapist that will divide their time and provide therapy to residents at 2 of our local skilled nursing facilities located in San Jose and Sunnyvale. Since this is a new program, we will be open and interested in learning your ideas and suggestions that will refine this position enabling you to be an integral participant in the further development of this position. Position Overview:

The primary role of the Respiratory Therapist is to perform safe respiratory procedures as ordered by physicians. Responsible for patient assessments, plan implementation, care plans, implementation of respiratory policies and procedures, integration of a respiratory care program with nursing, provide staffing/patient education and providing appropriate aspects of quality patient care while staying in compliance with current federal, state, guidelines, and company's regulations.

Essential Duties (include but are not limited to): Exam patients with cardiopulmonary disorders or breathing problems. Perform diagnostic tests on the lung capacity of the patient. Cooperate with physicians to help develop treatment plans. Demonstrate excellent working knowledge of Respiratory Care instruments and equipment. Maintain accurate and complete documentation of Respiratory Care procedures.

Qualifications:

Graduated from an accredited School for Respiratory Care, and is able to practice unencumbered, and is in good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards. Active CA Licensed as a Respiratory Care Therapist. Exudes professionalism in presentation.
