1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week night shift travel assignment at an acute care hospital in Aurora, CO, requiring a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience. Details RT/Respiratory Therapy unit in a 350-bed acute care hospital in Aurora, CO Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Staff ratio: 1 charge therapist and 5 staff per shift (day and night) Equipment used includes Hamilton G5, Hamilton C1, Hamilton T1, V60, and Vyaire Avea ventilators EMR system: Meditech (prior experience preferred) PEDS, NICU, and PICU experience preferred Requirements Active RRT credential and licensure — license required if applicable Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted; no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start) CRT or NBRC credential Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in area of placement Minimum 6 months of current acute care RRT hospital experience within the last 6 months US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — Canadian SSNs are not accepted One professional reference required No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Primary procedures include ventilator management and airway management Ideal candidates are energetic, team-oriented, and prioritize the patient experience Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible 13-week contract duration
