Job Description

Active Registered Respiratory Tech (RRT) license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. As a Certified Respiratory Therapist, you'll play an essential role in delivering safe, competent respiratory care across specialty areas, from emergency interventions to neonatal, pediatric, geriatric, and critical care. This position fosters growth and allows you to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge cardiopulmonary equipment, participate in multidisciplinary rounds, and sharpen your assessment and procedural skills through daily patient care and ongoing departmental education.

Qualifications:
Graduate of a COARC-accredited Respiratory Care Program, CRT credential required. BLS certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire). NRP certification (or obtain within 6 months of hire). At least one year of hospital respiratory therapy experience. Background check, drug screen, and employee health clearance required. Pulmonary and cardiac diagnostics experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
Administer and document all respiratory care per physician orders and department protocol. Manage and monitor ventilator patients; perform arterial blood gas draws. Proficiently use respiratory care equipment and troubleshoot as needed. Assist with training and orientation of new staff and students. Collaborate in ongoing quality improvement and compliance activities. Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines. Participate in departmental meetings and mandatory trainings.
